Groom Reaper Terms of Service

Last updated: October 7, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Airship Labs LLC ("Airship Labs," "we," or "us") for Groom Reaper: the groomreaper.ai website, the waitlist, and the Groom Reaper app once it's available (together, the "Service"). By joining the waitlist, creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you use Groom Reaper for a company, you agree for that company, and "you" means the company. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.

What Groom Reaper does

Groom Reaper uses AI to help teams groom their backlogs. It reads the issues and project items in the tracker you connect, finds stale work, ranks the rest using prioritization frameworks such as RICE, and suggests changes for your team to approve.

Groom Reaper is in development. Today this site lets you join the waitlist. Joining doesn't guarantee access or a launch date. We may change, add or remove features, and we may stop offering Groom Reaper.

Who can use it

Groom Reaper is for businesses and professionals. You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, to join the waitlist or create an account. You need a GitHub account to sign in, and you're responsible for everything that happens under your account.

The waitlist

Sign up only with an email address that's yours. We use it to send Groom Reaper launch updates, as described in our Privacy Policy. You can unsubscribe anytime using the link in any update email.

Connecting your tracker

You connect Groom Reaper by installing the Groom Reaper GitHub App on your GitHub organization and choosing what it can see. Only connect organizations, repositories and Projects you're allowed to connect. GitHub's terms govern your GitHub account and anything stored there, and we're not responsible for GitHub. You can remove the app in your GitHub settings at any time; Groom Reaper then stops syncing.

Your data

"Customer Data" means the backlog data Groom Reaper syncs from your tracker (such as issue titles, descriptions, labels, assignees, status and dates), your settings, and your approvals and rejections. You own your Customer Data. You give us permission to host, process and analyze it, including with the AI providers listed in our Privacy Policy, only as needed to provide, secure and support the Service.

We don't sell Customer Data or use it for advertising. We don't use it to train AI models, and we don't let our AI providers train on it.

Your backlog can include information about other people, such as teammates, contributors and your own customers. For that information, you're in charge and we work on your behalf. You're responsible for having the right to share it with us. When we process it for you, we'll:

If you need a separate data processing agreement, email support@airshiplabs.com.

AI suggestions and your approval

Groom Reaper's suggestions, rankings, scores and explanations are produced partly by AI. They can be wrong or incomplete. Groom Reaper doesn't change your tracker unless someone on your team approves the change. You're responsible for reviewing suggestions and for the changes you approve. Don't rely on Groom Reaper as your only record of important decisions.

Acceptable use

Don't use Groom Reaper to:

Our property and feedback

Groom Reaper, its name, logo and mascot, and the Service belong to Airship Labs. These terms don't give you any rights in them except to use the Service. If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them without owing you anything.

Ending your account

You can stop using Groom Reaper anytime. To leave the waitlist, unsubscribe or ask us to delete your information. To close your account, email support@airshiplabs.com. We may suspend or close your account if you break these terms or create risk or legal exposure for us or others. We'll tell you why when we can.

When your account closes, we delete your account, settings and synced Customer Data within 30 days, except records the law requires us to keep. Changes you approved stay in your tracker.

No warranties

Groom Reaper is provided "as is" and "as available." To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties, express or implied, including that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or fit for a particular purpose, or that its suggestions will be accurate.

Limits on liability

To the extent the law allows, Airship Labs isn't liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data, arising from these terms or the Service. Our total liability for any claim about Groom Reaper is limited to $100.

Your responsibility to us

To the extent the law allows, you'll cover our reasonable costs, including legal fees, from claims by others arising from your Customer Data or your breach of these terms.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When we do, we'll change the date at the top. If a change is significant, we'll email account holders at least 30 days before it takes effect. Continuing to use Groom Reaper after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

Colorado law governs these terms, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute about Groom Reaper will be decided in the state or federal courts located in Denver, Colorado.

General

These terms are the whole agreement between us about Groom Reaper. If part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies. Not enforcing a term isn't a waiver. You can't transfer these terms without our consent. We may transfer them to a buyer or successor.
